Where Integration Risk Gets Caught Before It Becomes a Missed Cutover

Most integration strategies don’t fail on the page.

They fail when nobody senior enough is watching the infrastructure risk closely enough, early enough — and the gap only shows up at Day 1.

I sit alongside the people carrying that risk — CIOs, integration leads, and whoever is briefing the SteerCo — from due diligence through cutover and into stabilisation, so the questions that matter get asked before Day 1, not diagnosed after.

M&A Transition & Integration

I bring independent oversight from due diligence through cutover and into stabilisation — the same discipline behind 15+ acquisition integrations over 23 years — so infrastructure risk never becomes the reason a deal timeline slips.

Typical scope includes:

  • Pre-merger technical due diligence review
  • Integration planning and risk challenge
  • Network and connectivity consolidation — planning and readiness review
  • Operational process alignment (Incident, Change, Crisis, Service Delivery)
  • Cutover readiness and business continuity assurance
  • Post-integration stabilisation review

Your internal teams and service providers deliver the work. My role is to make sure the plan is sound, the risks are visible before they land, and the person briefing the SteerCo isn’t finding out about a gap the same week as cutover.

Outcome:
Business-ready infrastructure on Day 1 — controlled risk, uninterrupted operations, and a timeline that holds against reality, not just on paper.

How I Work

I work directly with CIOs, infrastructure leaders, M&A executives, and the people inside the deal facing their own role uncertainty — all navigating complex and high-stakes transformations.

My role is not to replace internal teams or deliver theoretical recommendations. I support decision-makers with independent, execution-focused guidance — helping them navigate complexity, pressure, and real-world constraints.

Engagements are focused and outcome-driven. I start by assessing your situation, clarifying priorities, and defining a practical path forward.

From there, I provide ongoing advisory support — helping you make better decisions, anticipate risks, and adapt as execution evolves.

All discussions remain strictly confidential.

How We Work Together

  • Every engagement starts the same way, regardless of tier: a confidential conversation to understand your situation, a mutual confidentiality agreement, and a 45–60 minute initial conversation — no cost, no commitment, nothing sensitive discussed until the agreement is in place.

  • From there, the right level of engagement depends on where you are:
  • WiseNets Snapshot — CHF 390. A 90-minute session plus written analysis, delivered as a 1–2 page summary. For when you need a fast, independent read on your top infrastructure and continuity risks before deciding whether a deeper review is warranted.
  • WiseNets Day 1 Review — fixed fee, agreed after scope discussion. A structured 2–4 week risk review ahead of a critical Day 1, cutover, or transition milestone, delivered as an executive findings report your leadership team can act on.
  • WiseNets Advisory Partner — monthly or milestone retainer. Ongoing senior advisory support for as long as integration risk stays active: SteerCo preparation, weekly calls, and weekday access between sessions.
  • WiseNets Transition Partner — fixed monthly fee. For the individual navigating personal uncertainty inside an integration — not the organisation’s risk — with weekly 1-to-1 calls and weekday text support through the transition.
  • Full detail on scope and timing for each tier — along with how fees are structured — is in the WiseNets Service Catalog. Snapshot has a fixed starting price; the rest are scoped to your situation, and the Catalog explains why.

What This Isn’t

To be clear about fit before we talk: I’m not a replacement for your internal programme team, and I don’t provide staff augmentation or day-to-day project administration. I don’t take on a full technical audit unless it’s explicitly scoped as one. And I won’t discuss sensitive detail about your organisation until a mutual confidentiality agreement is in place — that protects you as much as it protects how I work.

Let’s Talk

If you’re navigating a complex M&A integration — and want an independent perspective — let’s have a confidential discussion.

I’ll help you assess where you are, clarify priorities, and identify the risks and decisions that matter most.

All discussions are strictly confidential.
